Dear Parents,

It seems impossible, but this is the last newsletter for the year! We have put all the letters on a ring for you to keep. Upon looking back to your child’s writing the first couple months of school, you’ll notice a tremendous difference when you compare it to more recent correspondence.

As we wind down (?!) with Rocketry, class memory books, and Awards Assemblies, it seems unlikely next week could be any busier… but it’s already booked up! We are looking forward to:

Monday:

Field Day- all day. (Please send in water bottles as we’ll be outside for a long time in the hot sun).

Tuesday:

9:00- Talent Show

1:00- Shoot off rockets!

Wednesday:

1:00- Grades 3-6- Awards Assembly

Thursday:

5th grade Capitals & States Competition (Time to be determined)

11:15- Dismissal

Friday:

Final Day Activities in classroom

11:15- Dismissal

This year truly has been a wonderful and exciting chapter in my life and the lives of your children. We have learned many things together that I hope will long, if not always, be remembered.

Thank you for lending your precious children to me. I know I have grown in so many ways from having the blessings of your children in my life.

Wishing you a safe and wonderful summer. Keep in touch!

Always,

Mrs. Merryman

P.S. We seemed to have misplaced a "Franklin Spelling Ace". It is a silver, compact spelling device. If you happen upon it at home, it would be greatly appreciated if you could send it in. Thank you.
